Then it’s off to Norway to start the European leg of The Bliss Avenue Tour at the summer festivals!

We’re kicking off Spring with a couple of  great US East Coast shows:

These are first US shows this Spring so get tickets before they sell out!  Then we are off to Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Lithuania, The Suwalki Festival in Poland, The famous Bospop Festival In Holland with  Crosby Stills & Nash!, The huge Cahors Festival in France (our first big French festival!), Getxo in Spain. Then we are Back at Notodden Festival In Norway! Look for a US Tour TBA in Early August!

I’m having a blast in the studio recording my new CD, “Bliss Avenue,” due out this spring on Ruf Records.  It’s been such a treat recording with some of my top wish-list musicians!  I’m excited with the direction of the music, which has taken me back a little to my bluesy, soul, southern rock roots!  Can’t wait for you all to hear it!

Dana joined “Across the Universe cast members Martin Luther “Jo Jo” and T.V. Carpio “Prudence” to perform 4 Beatles songs in  NYC at The Pratt Institute’s 125th Anniversary fundraiser to honor illustrious Pratt  Alumni Julie Taymor and others. The event raised $1,070,000 for Arts Education!

Dana and The Band are coming to Germany and The Netherlands in October! This is our last  European Performance for 2012- so get Tickets NOW while they are still available!!

We are very excited to be adding  the lush swirling Hammond Organ and Fiery Piano playing of Keyboard Wizard Bob Fridzema for the German and Dutch Dates!!! Don’t miss this special Tour.

(Yeah REALLY! ; – ) Then we are off to SPAIN for  our first shows there ever starting near Madrid on July 12 at  the Festival Cultura Inquieta, then July 13 at the prestigious  Festival Inernacional Jazz San Javier, and finally July 14 at the Bejar Blues festival. July 19 we are at Germany’s oldest and biggest hippy music fest at the Burg Herzberg Festival.

USA highlights are  our first show in Tacoma WA at Jazzbone’s August 3, Then the Mount Baker Blues Festival in Bellingham, WA … AND we  are in California September 1 at Blues By The Bay Festival in Eureka!

We had a blast rocking you all at the Blues From The Top Festival this June in Winter Park CO! The scenery, the crowd … and the altitude left us breathless! Looking forward to coming back to CO soon.
